Bought a GE Profile microwave a year ago. Charcoal filter went out. Was able to get it replaced. Now, it’s gone out again and I’ve spent a week trying to get ahold of GE to purchase parts. Hold times on phone are 2 hours. It’s a $25 part. This is crazy. Made a purchase online and it hasn’t cleared yet. Don’t know what to do.

Very, VERY disappointed with GE, Lowe’s and their Service Advantage. We bought a GE dryer May 20, 2017. In October the front bearing went out. It was repaired after having parts ordered, which took a month from me calling to finished repairs. Fast forward to December. Now the unit stops working altogether. The light comes on when the door is opened, but nothing else works. I call Service Advantage, the repairman comes out within a week and replaces the switch. Still doesn’t work. They then tell us they will be back in a week to replace the timer. 3 weeks later, they have never returned, never called, and SA can’t even get in touch with them after calling, leaving messages and emails. My husband calls SA 5 times, talked with 5 different people, to no avail. They never call us back either to let us know anything. Dh calls the managers at the store, who say they’ll look into it. After the 3rd call to the store, SA FINALLY calls me back and says that I’m being given the run-around by the repairman. Ya think!?!?!?! Then when I unload on the guy, he fills out a replacement order with GE for the item to be replaced. After all, we’re dealing with the electrical portion now, which I’m not comfortable with. Then he tells me that we have to wait 5 MORE days for GE to decide if they are agreeable to us returning the lemon. Really??????? What has happened to customer satisfaction??? We’ve owned the thing for less than 8 months and haven’t been able to use it for 2 months of that time! Ridiculous!! We’ve spent enough at the laundromat to have bought another dryer but they don’t care. Wait longer, they say. We’ll find another repairman, they say. I’m fed up! If I don’t get some satisfaction from Lowes, they’re going to lose our business from now on and my dh does renovations so he shops there quite a bit.
