Katherine Wiarda was born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in the city of Allen, Texas. Katherine Wiarda received her undergraduate degree in History from the University of Oklahoma, graduating summa cum laude. While at the University of Oklahoma, Katherine was involved in a number of campus organizations, including Delta Gamma sorority.
Shortly after receiving her Bachelor of Arts in 2012, Katherine moved to New Orleans to attend law school. In 2015, Katherine graduated cum laude from Tulane University Law School, earning her J.D. and a certificate in Civil Law. While in law school, Katherine interned with CASA New Orleans, where she performed research regarding children in foster care. She also clerked for Judge Jay C. Zainey at the United States District for the Eastern District of Louisiana and Chief Judge Henry N. Brown at the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and served as an executive member of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal.
Katherine joined Salley & Salley, LLC, as an associate, in 2016. She has always enjoyed working with others and is excited to utilize her knowledge and skills to assist clients in working through their legal issues.
